I've been thinking a lot about Jonas Haineault's case and the bus journey he took in 1977. It seems like there are so many unknowns surrounding his trip from Hythe to Edmonton. Does anyone have any information about the bus service back then? Like, were there stops where passengers could disembark without much record-keeping? It's puzzling how there's no confirmed sighting in Edmonton or anywhere else. I'm curious if the route allowed for passengers to easily disappear, unintentionally or otherwise. Also, were there any accounts from fellow passengers who might remember Jonas or even if such records were attempted to be gathered back then? This case keeps gnawing at me because it feels like maybe there are more clues tied to that bus trip. Thoughts on this angle?
