Hey everyone, I was reading up on the disappearance of John Morris Groves from Northwest River in 1981, and something's been sticking with me. I came across a mention of the town’s new bridge that had just been built, which replaced the old cable car system. It's interesting because this was a major change for the community at the time. I'm wondering if anyone else thinks this could have played a role in the case somehow? Maybe the new connection to the outside world made it easier for someone to leave or for outsiders to come in unnoticed. It might seem like a small detail, but given the time and place, perhaps it's significant. The bridge probably made travel quicker and less conspicuous than the old cable car, which everyone would have noticed. Has anyone else looked into how this new infrastructure might have impacted not just John's case, but other cases or people's movements at the time? It could be another piece of the puzzle that's worth exploring. Thoughts? Looking forward to hearing what you all think!
