Hey everyone, I've been reading through the details about Andrew Grinnell's case and something's been on my mind. Has anyone else ever wondered about the canoes themselves? I know they tied them together to use the wind, but that seems risky given how unpredictable the weather can be in that area. Were there any reports about the condition or type of their canoes? I remember reading somewhere that certain materials might not withstand rough waters as well as others. It makes me curious whether their equipment was suitable for such an expedition, especially around James Bay, where conditions can change quickly. This might not sound like much, but I've always believed that sometimes the smallest details can offer new insights. Thoughts?
