I’ve been closely following the tragic events surrounding the Perry school shooting, and my heart goes out to everyone affected, especially the Jolliff family. I wanted to talk about the incredible bravery displayed by Principal Dan Marburger. Even though he is in critical condition, the reports about how he tried to shield students during the chaos are truly heroic. It’s so important to recognize the individuals who risked their lives to protect others. Marburger’s actions highlight what it means to be a true leader, putting the safety of his students above his own. Hoping for his recovery and thinking of all those who were injured and traumatized that day. If anyone has updates on Principal Marburger's condition or knows ways to help the affected families, please share.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Ahmir Jolliff with such a heavy heart. One thing that's been on my mind is the role of the school staff during the incident, especially Principal Dan Marburger. It's just incredible to see such bravery and selflessness. From what I’ve read, he was critically injured trying to protect his students, and it really makes me think about the extent of his courage amidst such chaos.
I can't stop thinking about what the staff and teachers must be going through now. It must be so traumatic and difficult for them to return to the place where they experienced such a tragedy. Does anyone have any information on the support systems in place for them right now? Are there any community efforts to help them cope? It would be comforting to know they’re receiving the help they truly need.
Sending all my thoughts and support to the victims, their families, and the entire Perry community. It’s a reminder that in the face of such darkness, acts of care and heroism like Mr. Marburger’s can shine a light.
Stay safe, everyone.
