I’ve always been intrigued by the stories that remain open unresolved for many decades, like that of Raymond Ernest Sewap. One angle that I feel hasn't been explored enough is the role of weather and water conditions on that fateful day at Amisk Lake. How swiftly did the water get rough, and could there have been any early warning signs that may have been missed by the group? Lakes can be unpredictable, but local weather reports from that day might provide some insights into what suddenly turned a normal boat trip dangerous. Also, did anyone living around Denare Beach at the time note anything about the weather or lake conditions? The nature can turn treacherous without warning, and in a place with as many bodies of water as Saskatchewan, these instances make me wonder how often similar situations have occurred. It makes me question the safety measures taken during those times and whether similar tragedies might have been avoided. Thoughts and insights on how weather played a factor in such disappearances are welcome!
