Hey everyone, I’ve been following Desiree Michelle Lekanoff’s case, and something that really bothers me is how long it took for her remains to be found. It’s so unsettling to think she was missing for almost two years before any part of her was found. I can’t imagine what her family went through during that time, not knowing where she was or if she was okay. It’s tragic to think about all the holidays and family milestones they spent searching for answers. I wonder if there were any leads during those two years that weren't followed up on, or if it was just a case of not having enough information. If anyone knows more about what was happening during that time, I'd love to hear your thoughts. We need to keep talking about this to keep her memory alive until justice is served.

I can't stop thinking about the timeline of when Desiree went missing in December 2001 and when her remains were discovered in June 2003. It's just so unsettling that it took so long for her to be found. I genuinely feel for her family and friends who spent those agonizing months not knowing what happened to her. I wonder if there’s any connection between her disappearance and her social circle at the time. Did she trust someone she shouldn't have? It’s so important that anyone with any small piece of information comes forward. It could be the key to finding justice for Desiree, and every piece of this puzzle matters. If anyone here has heard something, no matter how insignificant it might seem, please reach out.
