Has anyone else looked into the weather reports or climate conditions on the night Marjorie Ferris went missing? I've come across some old archives that mentioned a severe winter storm, and I can't help but wonder if this could have been a significant factor in her disappearance. It’s clear she was fond of walking along the waterfront, and that particular evening was reportedly rough with high winds and waves. Given how disorienting and dangerous such conditions can be, it seems plausible she might have been caught off guard, perhaps losing her footing near the water.
I know the area along Spencer Smith Park is beautiful but surely tricky during a storm. I read somewhere that some parts get pretty icy, adding to the risk factor. It might not provide closure, but understanding the environmental aspects surrounding that night could offer some insight. If anyone has more detailed info about the weather patterns that night or knows someone familiar with that area during storms, it’d be an interesting piece to discuss further. Thoughts?
