Has anyone else been following the aftermath of the Charles Vacca incident at the Bullets and Burgers gun range? I recently came across some details about the initiative Vacca's kids started called “We Have A Voice.” It's really touching to see them channeling their grief into an effort to create change. From what I understand, they’re pushing for laws to prevent young children from using fully automatic weapons. Considering how tragic and preventable this accident was, this initiative seems like a powerful way to honor their dad. It's also a poignant reminder of the heartache everyone involved must still be feeling—especially that poor girl and her family. I can't even imagine how difficult it is for them. The accident was, by all accounts, totally unintentional, but it's left a lasting impact on so many lives. Has anyone here participated in or supported “We Have A Voice”? I’d be interested to hear if it's gaining any traction or if there are similar campaigns out there bringing attention to gun safety issues, especially for children. It's a tragedy that we really need to learn from.
