Hi everyone,
I've been following the Bernard Champagne case, and something that's been bugging me is his familiarity with the area. Bernard lived in that cabin for about 40 years, which should have made him pretty well-versed with the surroundings, right? How does someone with such deep roots in a place just disappear without a trace? I'm wondering if maybe the weather could have played a role that particular day. We're talking northern Ontario in July, which can't be all that predictable. Could a sudden weather shift have startled him or led him astray? I'd love to hear if anyone has experience with similar cases where someone seemingly comfortable in their environment just vanished. Could nature have outsmarted him? Or is there more to this than meets the eye? Appreciate any insights or theories!
