I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on the students at Joyce Clark Middle School. Imagine being a young kid, just going about your normal school day, when suddenly your school is on lockdown because of something so devastating happening nearby. It's hard enough for adults to process such an event, let alone young minds who were likely frightened by the sudden change in their routine and the presence of police. I hope the school provided counselors or some form of support to help the kids understand and cope with what happened. My heart goes out to Arturo's family and everyone in the community touched by this tragedy. Let's hope for healing and justice as the investigation unfolds.
