It’s truly devastating to think of the ripple effects this incident has caused, especially among those who knew her. I’ve read accounts from her neighbors and friends describing Mercy as a kind and vibrant person, always willing to lend a hand or share a smile. It's so painful seeing someone like her taken away in such a violent manner.

It’s encouraging to see people coming together to honor Mercy’s memory and to fight for something positive out of such a horrendous act. I'm hoping that these efforts will turn into lasting change in terms of support and resources for those affected by domestic violence.
