Hi folks,
I was digging through some old newspaper archives about Diane Marie Bourne's case and came across something curious. Just days after she went missing, a neighbor reported seeing an unfamiliar car parked near the property on Kidd Road. It was described as a dark-colored sedan, but no one recognized it in the area, and it seems this sighting wasn't pursued much at the time. Given the proximity to where her last footprints ended, I'm wondering if anyone else has heard more about this or if it's ever been considered a significant lead in the investigation?
It got me thinking about whether any follow-up was done on the drivers or passengers of that vehicle. Was it checked against any missing persons lists or looked into further during the 2007 search? If anyone has more insights into this aspect, it could be worth discussing. Maybe it's a small detail that could spark new avenues of thought?
Thanks for any info or thoughts you can share.
