Hey everyone. I’ve been following the Kevin Rogers case, and I wanted to discuss something that really gets to me—the senselessness of it all. I've read about Kevin, and he seemed like such a good kid with his whole life ahead of him. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that a young guy couldn't even be in a parking lot without something like this happening. It makes me wonder about the circumstances that lead to such violence and whether there might have been opportunities for intervention beforehand. I really feel for his friends and family; I can’t begin to imagine the depth of their loss. They deserve answers and justice, not just for Kevin but for every young life out there at risk. If anyone has insight or thoughts on prevention measures we can advocate for, I'd be interested in hearing them. ?
