I've been digging into Emily Norma Ballantyne's case, and there's something curious about the timeline when she arrived in Thompson. Her companions say they split up after arriving late on April 27, 1991, but there aren't many details about what any of them did next. It's odd to me that one of the guys says he saw her a day or two later, yet the reports don't clarify what he was doing in the meantime, or what she might have been doing during those hours or days. Did she have plans that we don't know about, or was she just wandering around? Also, the fact that her case was revisited in 1997 with DNA samples but still nothing surfaced is frustrating. That time gap feels significant. With such distinct descriptions and tattoos, it's hard to believe nobody saw anything, right? Considering Thompson’s size back in '91, how does someone just disappear like that? Did anyone else on here hear any more rumors or remember anything from the area back then? Sometimes it's these overlooked details that break cases open.
