Hey everyone, I’ve been researching the Cooksey case, and I can’t stop thinking about the neighbors in that apartment complex. It must have been incredibly unsettling to live so close to where Rene Cooksey and Edward Nunn tragically lost their lives. Imagine being the person who heard the gunshots or called it in to the police. It's just such a chilling thought. I wonder if any of them had suspicions about Cleophus Jr. living there. It’s perplexing to think about what, if anything, the neighbors noticed leading up to that horrific night. Were there signs of tension or distress? Could anyone have predicted such a tragedy? My heart really goes out to them too, knowing they had to contend with the aftermath and continue living in close proximity to where such a terrible event occurred. I'm hoping that sharing our thoughts can help us process this a bit better. Thanks for any insights or theories you might have. Stay safe, everyone.
