It's so tragic what happened to Jeffrey O'Connell, and my heart goes out to his loved ones who have to endure this unbearable pain. I’ve been thinking a lot about the family who was caught up in this horror as well—can you imagine being at home, relaxing with your family, and suddenly hearing gunshots outside your window? It's a miracle everyone in that house, especially the young child, stayed safe. It’s terrifying to think how close this violence came to affecting even more lives. I can't stop thinking about how those moments must have utterly changed their perception of safety in their own home. Sending strength and support to all affected by this senseless act.
