Authorities have released the name of a San Bernardino man who died two days after being shot Saturday in that city.
Alex Salas, 21, was found about 5:55 p.m. by officers responding to a call reporting shots heard in the 1600 block of East Gould Street (map), police said Wednesday in a news release.
Salas was unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of a car that had collided with two other cars, the release said.
He was transported via ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center in grave condition.
He died of his injuries Monday, officials said.
The motive for the shooting remained unknown.
