I've been following the case of Matt Alford and Lewis Jetty, and my heart goes out to their families during this difficult time. I wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind about the whole situation—how crucial that initial investigation phase was in linking Michael Hollie to the crime. It proves how important it is for law enforcement to meticulously gather and preserve evidence at the scene. If those stolen items hadn't been found and traced back to Hollie, who knows if they would have been able to hold someone accountable for such a terrible act of violence? The diligence of the Tucson Police Department in this case serves as a small comfort that justice can be sought, even in the midst of tragedy. It's a reminder of the hard work law enforcement officers put in behind the scenes to provide some closure for the families involved. My thoughts are with Matt and Lewis's loved ones, and I hope justice can help them find some peace.
