I was reading about Aaron Aldrete Jr., and I can’t stop thinking about his little boy who's going to grow up without his dad. I can't even begin to imagine how hard this is for his mom and family. Losing someone so young is already devastating, but when they leave behind a child, it just adds another level of grief. Aaron's family talks about him as a loving and responsible person, and it sounds like he was really trying to be the best father he could be at such a young age.
I wonder if there's anything more being done locally to support families like Aaron's, who are grappling with sudden and tragic losses. Does anyone know if there are community-based resources in Phoenix that might step in during situations like this? It seems like along with trying to find justice, there's a need for some extra support systems in place for young families facing such a heavy burden.
