I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact of youth violence in our communities, especially after hearing about Kenyon Myers' tragedy. It's absolutely devastating to think a young life could be taken so abruptly in what should’ve been a space for fun and laughter. I can’t stop thinking about the ripple effects on Kenyon’s family and friends. The trauma and grief they’re experiencing must be unimaginable. And for those who were present that night, the shock and fear of witnessing such a horrifying event must weigh heavily on them too. I hope anyone who knows something comes forward. Justice for Kenyon won’t replace the loss, but it might give some peace to those who cared about him. It’s a grim reminder of how gun violence can leave a permanent scar on communities. Sending strength to everyone working tirelessly to see justice served.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Kenyon Myers case, and I can't stop thinking about the people who were at that party. It must be so traumatizing for them, especially knowing that the suspect was someone amongst them who just fled the scene. I wonder how they’re coping with this, knowing that their friend was lost to such senseless violence. It can’t be easy living with that memory and the uncertainty of whether justice will be served. If any of them are reading this, I hope they have the support they need. Maybe someone might have seen something, even something small, that they didn't realize was important at the time. It’s critical for anyone who might have info to step forward. Not just for Kenyon’s sake, but to help bring some peace to everyone affected.
