On a Sunday evening in Phoenix, Arizona, a house party that should have been filled with youthful energy and laughter turned into a scene of tragedy. Seventeen-year-old Kenyon Myers was leaving a gathering near 20th Street and Southern Avenue on April 19, 2020, when his life was cut short by gunfire. The shooting happened at approximately 9:15 p.m. as he was departing from the residence where the party was being held.
