I've been thinking a lot about the location where John Scales was found. 13th Avenue and Madison Street is not exactly unheard of for incidents, but it's still baffling that this tragic event occurred there. It's an area that's super busy during the day but pretty desolate at night, so I'm wondering if that played into the crime somehow. Does anyone know if there are any cameras in the vicinity? It seems odd that a shooting could happen there without anyone seeing or hearing anything, but stranger things have happened, I guess. It's really unsettling to think about how a simple drive could turn into something so fatal. My heart goes out to John's family and loved ones. Truly hoping that anyone with information finds the courage to come forward so his family can find some peace.
