Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Joseph Michael Doyle, and I can't help but think about the safety concerns that this tragic event raises. Working alone or with minimal staff during odd hours in the food service industry is incredibly risky, and Joe's murder is a glaring reminder of that. Does anyone else wonder if there should be more stringent security measures, especially for restaurants that operate late into the night or open early? It's just so unsettling to think that Joe, who had just gotten this great promotion, was put in harm's way simply by going to work. No one should have to fear for their safety while doing their job. I'm hoping that, if anything positive can come out of this, it will be a push for better protection and policies for those in similar roles. My heart goes out to Joe’s family and friends; I hope justice is served soon and brings them some sense of peace during this unimaginable time.
