I've been thinking a lot about the tragic case of Zakee Shelton and wanted to focus on something beyond the shooting itself—his life and potential. Being just 21 years old, it's truly devastating to see such a young life cut short. From what I've read, Zakee was from Tolleson, which isn't far from where the incident occurred. I can't help but wonder if he was doing something as routine as visiting friends or perhaps even returning home when this happened. It's these ordinary moments turned tragic that really hit home. To Zakee's friends and family, my heart goes out to you. I can’t imagine the pain you're going through. It makes me think about the importance of community in these times, how vital it is that we come together not just to call for justice in Zakee's case but also to support each other. If anyone has information, now's the time to step up and help bring closure to the people who knew and loved him.
