Hey everyone,
I can't stop thinking about Nathaniel Holmes' case, especially after recently hearing how he was known by the nickname "Fatts" by those close to him. It makes me realize how important it is to remember victims by their personalities and the lives they led, not just by the circumstances of their deaths.
There's something so eerie about how this case still hasn't been solved since 1999. Every year that passes must be agony for his family and friends, not knowing what really happened or seeing justice served. It's hard to believe there isn't someone out there who knows more about that night on New York Avenue.
For those who might have been around the area in November 1999, even the smallest details can help. Maybe someone saw something unusual but didn’t realize its importance at the time. If you remember anything, I urge you to come forward. The MPD is offering a reward, and you can even provide tips anonymously.
Let’s support the Holmes family and do what we can to help give them the answers they desperately need. Everyone deserves to have peace and closure.
Stay safe,

Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Nathaniel Holmes, known as "Fatts," and I can't help but think about the ripple effect unsolved cases have on families and communities. It's truly troubling that after all this time, there are still so many unanswered questions about what happened to him. I came across an old newspaper clipping while doing some research, and it mentioned how Nathaniel was well-liked in his area. It really hit home because beyond being a statistic or a case number, he was someone's son, someone's friend.
I wonder if anyone who was around that area in '99 might have seen something they didn't think was relevant at the time? Sometimes even the smallest detail, something seemingly insignificant, can be the key to unlocking these mysteries. If you're here and you know something, anything, about that night, please consider reaching out to the authorities. It's a chance to bring some measure of peace to those who knew Nathaniel and have been living with this loss for over two decades.
Let's keep talking about this and maybe, just maybe, we can help make a difference.
Sending thoughts to Nathaniel's loved ones.
Hey everyone,
I've been reading about the unsolved case of Nathaniel "Fatts" Holmes, and something that's been on my mind is the community's role in cases like this. It happened back in 1999, and I'm wondering how much the neighborhood dynamics have changed since then. I know that area has gone through a lot of developments recently, so I can't help but speculate if there are people who might now feel more empowered or safe to share any information they have—especially if they were hesitant before.
If you're in the D.C. area, do you think the shifts in the community could impact someone’s willingness to come forward now versus back then? It would be amazing to get justice not just for Nathaniel but for his family who have been living with this loss for so long. Any thoughts?
Let’s keep discussing and hopefully find a piece of info that helps push this case toward closure. ?
