Has anyone else been following the developments in the Alexis Rodriguez case out of Yuma? I just can't stop thinking about how incredibly brave the male companion must have been to be able to drive them both to the hospital despite having been shot. It's hard to imagine the kind of physical and emotional strength that would require. I’m really curious about any updates on the plea deal that was offered to Alexander Delcid. It's just weighing on my mind how the community can find some sense of justice and peace. On the other hand, it's reassuring to see the outpouring of support through the fundraiser for Alexis's family. It's a reminder that even amidst terrible tragedy, people are coming together to help in whatever ways they can. Sending all my thoughts to those who knew and loved Alexis.
