In the summer of 2020, Leland L. Hines, a 42-year-old male, was killed in a burst of gunfire that erupted on a Saturday night in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood. The incident, which occurred on July 25, unfolded outside the Horizon Lounge on East 33rd Avenue and Hudson Street, leaving a scene of chaos and violence.
