In the spring of 1995, a young Black man named Jermaine Chandler, at the age of 22, found his life tragically cut short. On the evening of April 16th, the sound of gunshots echoed through a Denver neighborhood. When police responded to the reports near East 28th Avenue and Pontiac Street, they discovered Jermaine in the alley that ran between Pontiac and Poplar Streets.
