In the late spring of 1986, a young man's life was cut short on the streets of Denver. On the evening of May 31st, 26-year-old Gerardo Ramirez was found with a gunshot wound in the 2100 block of Larimer Street. The discovery marked the beginning of a long and unresolved chapter in the city's history.
