Hi everyone, I've been following Santiago Jimenez Herrera's case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact of gun violence on the Tucson community. It's incredibly saddening to see another life taken in such a senseless manner. Santiago was only 36, with presumably so much more life to live, and this brings to light a much larger issue that keeps repeating across many communities. I noticed there's been a strong effort to remember Santiago through memorials where people can light candles or add to his profile. This gesture speaks volumes about how loved and cherished he was by those who knew him. Efforts like this remind us that while we might be strangers to the victims and their families, we are united in our desire to remember and honor those we've lost. For anyone local to Tucson, do you feel there's been a shift in community efforts or movements aiming to address gun violence since Santiago's passing? I'm hopeful that by continuing to shed light on these tragedies, we might see some positive changes in policy or community safety measures. Sending love and strength to Santiago's family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time.
