Larry Paul Elmerick, aged 27, went missing on May 30, 1969, during a family camping trip near the Owens River, close to Collins Road in Bishop, California. On the day of his disappearance, Larry left the campsite on his motorcycle to go fishing but never returned. His motorcycle was later found abandoned, but no trace of Larry was discovered, leaving his family and authorities searching for answers.
