Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Karel Perez-Almaguer case from back in 2014 and I can’t get over how swift the officers managed to apprehend Angelo Bol. Seeing that they responded within 90 seconds is just incredible. Kudos to the Gibbon law enforcement for getting there so quickly, even if it was too late to save Karel. I’ve been thinking about what this must have been like for Karel’s coworkers who witnessed this tragedy–it’s unimaginable to process such violence happening right where they work. I hope they found the support they needed to cope. Does anyone have insights on how the company handled the aftermath for their employees? How did they help them through the initial shock and concerns about safety? Sending my thoughts to Karel’s loved ones during what I’m sure has been an incredibly tough time.
