Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Desmond Fowler, and something that stands out to me is how crucial the bystanders' role was in capturing Michael Dewey so quickly. I can’t imagine what it was like for them to witness such a traumatic event and then immediately help the authorities. It must have been so difficult, yet their bravery and willingness to cooperate really helped bring much-needed answers to Desmond’s family and the Lincoln community. It’s incredible to see how a community can come together during such a tragic time. It really makes you think about how we can all be more engaged and supportive of each other in preventing violence and helping when atrocities like this occur. I wonder what more can be done to foster this kind of collaboration elsewhere. My thoughts are with Desmond’s loved ones, and I admire those witnesses who stepped up during such a devastating moment.
