It's so chilling to think about the fact that this all went down in what seemed like just another neighborhood in Omaha. I drove through 89th Court and Newport Plaza the other day, and knowing what happened there just somehow makes it feel different. My heart goes out to the local community that's dealing with the aftermath, as well as Lisa and Marquesha’s loved ones. It’s hard to fathom what they must be going through. What's really on my mind is how none of us ever really know what might be lurking beneath the surface in our own backyards. It makes you think, how well do we really know our neighbors or even those we might casually greet at the local store? Stay safe, everyone, and let's look out for each other.
