Does anyone remember the rumors about the wooded area where Lonnie Hill was found? I was a kid back then, and locals used to say it was always a sketchy spot, even before Lonnie's tragic murder. It’s haunting to think someone led him there on purpose, knowing how secluded it was. It makes you question why that location—was it just for minimal witnesses or did that area hold some significance to those involved? Dover folk had their theories, some saying it was a known hangout for those who didn’t want to be seen. For Lonnie's family, I can’t imagine how distressing it must have been knowing he was left there. My heart truly goes out to them, even all these years later. Does anyone else have more insight or remember stories about that area back then?
