It's been almost nine years since Tah'Mere was taken from us, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who are still searching for answers and justice. I was recently reading about the violence in Wilmington during that time, and it honestly feels overwhelming to think of so many young lives lost. What really struck me is how resilient the community is—everyone coming together to support the victims' families and push for change. I hope that anyone with information about what happened to Tah'Mere finds the courage to come forward. His spirit brought joy to those who knew him, and he deserves for his story to see some closure. I read that the Wilmington Police Department is still looking for leads on Tah'Mere's case and I think this speaks volumes about the importance of community engagement. If anyone has even the smallest amount of information, it could be crucial. I can't imagine what his family is going through, knowing the person responsible is still out there.
Let's hope that as a community, we can find ways to support each other and make our neighborhoods safer for everyone. My thoughts go out to Tah'Mere's family and friends. Stay strong.
