Has anyone else been following the legal journey surrounding William O. Brown's tragic death? It’s frustrating to hear that the court couldn’t hold Michael Rose personally accountable because of corporate protections. I understand why laws like that exist, but it’s hard not to feel for Brown’s family who are seeking justice on behalf of William and his child. I can't imagine the pain and frustration L'Tanya Graham and Marlaine S. Wilson must be going through. I’ve read that The Gold Club had a reputation for shady activities even before it was closed down. Do you think these types of venues are inherently dangerous, or is it more about how they're managed? I hope we see more measures being taken to ensure safer environments in nightlife spots around Wilmington. William’s death is a stark reminder of the changes still needed. ? My thoughts are with the family as they navigate this challenging time.
