I've been thinking about the Lamont Pitts case, and one angle I find puzzling is the lack of surveillance footage in the area. In 2004, surveillance tech might not have been as widespread as it is now, but given that Valley Avenue is a significant street, it's hard to believe there wouldn't have been any cameras nearby. Maybe someone remembers seeing a camera on a business or a home around that time? Even if it was just a nearby gas station or corner store with security footage, that could have captured something useful that night. If anyone has details about the local businesses back then or knows if any footage was reviewed, it could be a game-changer. Lamont’s family deserves answers, and even old memories can spark new leads. Let’s keep talking and see if together we can piece something together that could finally bring them peace.
Hey everyone, I was revisiting the Lamont Pitts case and something has been sticking out to me lately—has there been any talk about activity in the neighborhood that night? I've been trying to piece together what might have been happening around Valley Avenue during those early morning hours. Sometimes small details might have seemed insignificant back then, but could be crucial now.
I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are going through, waiting for answers for so long. If anyone lived or worked in that area in 2004, or just happened to pass by that night and noticed anything unusual, even if it seemed minor, it could help. It's these communities coming together and sharing that often spark breakthroughs. If anyone remembers anything, please consider reaching out to the MPD anonymously if you’re more comfortable that way. Let's help bring closure and justice for Lamont and his loved ones.
