Zion's passing really got me thinking about the impact on the local community, especially the kids and teens growing up in these neighborhoods. Imagine being a young person in Wilmington right now—it's like living with a constant shadow over your shoulder. Zion was only 18, and he should have been looking forward to a future full of possibilities, not having his potential stolen away like that. I read that some schools are trying to offer more support services, and there are neighborhood groups focused on providing safe spaces and activities for youth. This kind of community-driven effort gives me hope. It's going to take time and commitment, but small steps can make a world of difference. Sending love and strength to Zion's family and friends.
