Hey everyone, I've been deeply intrigued by the case of Chris Lavoie and Jeffrey Lude for a while now. It's just so tragic to see how lives can be irrevocably changed by one fateful decision. Something that's been weighing on my mind is how Lavoie's family must've received the news about the plea deal. Can you imagine the mix of emotions they must've felt? On one hand, there's the relief of some closure, but on the other, there's the pain of knowing that the person responsible won't be serving the punishment they probably wish for. How do families cope with such an outcome? It's so tough even as an outsider to swallow that. Sending thoughts to all those who loved Chris. It must be an ongoing struggle to come to terms with this tragedy. How do you all think these plea deals impact the healing process for grieving families?
