I've been thinking a lot about how Maxx Hathaway received his diploma from the University of Southern Maine on the *very same day* he lost his life. It really makes me ponder the unpredictable nature of life and how achievements and celebrations can so abruptly turn into tragedy. It’s such a cruel twist of fate. Maxx seemed like a genuinely warm and caring person, always uplifting others with his humor and love for life. A devoted stay-at-home dad, he was living proof that prioritizing family is one of the most noble paths someone can take. The thought that he didn’t get to see his third daughter, and she’ll grow up knowing him only through stories, is particularly gut-wrenching. It's comforting to see how the community came together for Maxx’s family, and how his sister, Kelsay, is taking steps toward healing through grief counseling. It shows the strength of the bonds we share with each other. I hope we all continue to support Brenda, their children, and the rest of Maxx's family as they navigate their journey without him. If anyone wants to share memories of Maxx or how they’re contributing to community support, it would be great to hear. Stay strong, everyone. ?

Has anyone else been following the aftermath of the Lewiston shooting? I've been reading about Maxx Hathaway's life, and I can't stop thinking about the day he received his diploma from the University of Southern Maine. To achieve something after so much hard work and dedication, only for it to coincide with such a tragic day, is incredibly moving. It's moments like this that make me realize how precious life is. My thoughts are with his wife Brenda and their family. It must be so difficult for them, especially with so much anticipation for their new baby. Sending them all the strength and love during these tough times. ??

Hello everyone, I've been thinking about the incredible strength of Maxx Hathaway's family, particularly his sister Kelsay. I can't imagine the pain of losing a sibling so suddenly, especially in such a tragic and public way. It speaks volumes about her resilience that she's actively engaging in grief counseling and finding ways to cope. It's amazing to see the community rallying around them, too. The support from locals has been a powerful reminder of how crucial it is to have a network when going through something unimaginable. I hope that Kelsay and the rest of Maxx’s family feel that they aren’t alone in this journey. Has anyone been involved in community efforts recently, or know how people are further commemorating Maxx and the other victims? It would be great to hear how people are continuing to honor their memories. Sending strength and love to the Hathaway family and everyone affected. ? Take care, [Username]
