I've been thinking a lot about the role neighbors played in Randall Keller's tragic case. It must have been incredibly difficult for them to process what happened so close to their own homes. I read somewhere that a couple of them reported hearing raised voices that night but thought nothing of it. I can't even begin to imagine the guilt or regret they might feel, even though, of course, there's nothing they could have really done differently. It's easy to say in hindsight what might have been or what signs were missed, but when you're living your day-to-day life, you can't possibly prepare for something this awful. My heart goes out to those neighbors who are now forever linked to such a horrific event. How do you move on from that kind of experience when it takes place right next door?

I've been following the case of Randall Keller's murder and, like many of you, I find it deeply unsettling. One aspect that I keep coming back to is the relationship between Randall and his roommate, Logan Christopher. It just makes me wonder what events led up to such a tragic outcome.
