I've been thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the St. Regis community, especially for the kids in local schools who knew Ayden and Brayden. It's so tough to process something like this at a young age. I read that counselors were brought in to help the students, which I believe is really crucial. What must it be like for these children to try to make sense of losing their friends in such a traumatic way? It’s a reminder of how important mental health support is in schools, not just in times of crisis but as a long-term resource. My heart truly goes out to all the students and teachers who are dealing with this. It's hard to imagine how they must be feeling, and I hope they continue to receive the support they need moving forward.
Has anyone else here been following the devastating case from St. Regis? I can't stop thinking about how the community came together for the candlelight vigil. It must have been incredibly moving to see so many people unite in memory of Ayden and Brayden. It's clear that their short lives touched a lot of hearts, and this tragedy has left a lasting impact on everyone. I was glad to hear that the schools provided counselors for those who needed them. It's so important to have support systems in place after something like this. Sending all my thoughts to their mother, Sierra, and hope she finds some comfort in the community's love and support. If anyone has updates on how the family is doing or how the GoFundMe is progressing, please share. I’d love to know how we might continue to help.
