Hi everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Robert Lee Alexander’s case lately, especially how it has been almost two decades without any resolution. One thing that really stands out to me is the location of the crime. The 1000 block of Gallatin Street, NE is a pretty populated area, and I can't help but wonder about the potential witnesses who may simply feel too afraid to speak up. I totally get the fear involved, especially if you’re a neighbor or have family nearby. The whole “snitches get stitches” culture can be incredibly intimidating. But what happens when silence means justice is never served for Robert and his grieving family?
Do you guys think there’s anything more that can be done to encourage people to come forward? I know there’s a sizable reward being offered, but maybe there’s something more that can be done to help people feel safer about coming forward. If anyone has ideas on how communities can work together to help give a voice to cases like Robert’s, I’d love to hear them. My thoughts are definitely with his family and friends during this endless pursuit of justice.
Thanks for reading.
I was thinking about Robert Lee Alexander's case earlier today. It’s really haunting that it's been so many years with no resolution. One thing that's been sticking with me is how this took place in a fairly populated area. I can't help but wonder if someone saw something, maybe without even realizing its significance at the time. Imagine driving down Gallatin Street that night and witnessing something out of the corner of your eye but dismissing it as nothing. It's scary to think about how crucial such small details can be for an investigation. My heart truly goes out to Robert's family—I can't imagine the pain of having no answers for so long. I really hope someone comes forward soon with even a shred of information that might lead to justice for Robert. Anyone with even the slightest suspicion, please speak up. Every little bit helps.
Hey everyone,
I wanted to bring attention to a detail in Robert Lee Alexander's case that might be worth discussing. I read that Robert was shot around 9:21 p.m. on March 24, 2005, in the 1000 block of Gallatin Street, NE. That's not exactly late at night, and it's a residential area with people likely still out and about. It's surprising there hasn't been more witness information. Has anyone considered looking deeper into the foot traffic around that time? Maybe people were walking their dogs or coming home from work? It feels like someone must have seen or heard something outside the ordinary that night.
It's so disheartening for Robert's family and friends, knowing that they might have to keep waiting for answers. I truly hope someone who knows something comes forward soon. If anyone reading this was in the area back then or knows someone who was, please reach out to the police. Even the smallest tip could help bring justice for Robert and his loved ones.
Stay safe, everyone. Let’s push to get some answers for him.
