Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this tragedy might have on the Rocky Mountain College community as a whole? Chandler was more than just a freshman football player; he was part of a group of young people who were just starting to forge their future, both academically and athletically. I've read that the college postponed all athletic events and held a prayer service, which makes me wonder how the team and the student body are coping. It must be incredibly difficult for those who were close to him, not just his teammates, but also his roommates, classmates, and teachers. It's such a senseless loss that touches so many lives beyond immediate family and friends. Changes like these can leave a lasting scar, yet I hope it also brings the community together in support and healing. Anyone have insights or experiences on how schools deal with such tragedies?
