Gloria's tragic murder has haunted her family and community all these years, and my heart truly goes out to them. I happened to be reading about the case again, and something I can't quite wrap my head around is the time of day this happened. Around 5:15 AM, it would have still been pretty early, and someone might have seen or heard something, right?
I'm curious if there were any businesses nearby with security cameras that might have captured something unusual in the hours leading up to the attack. You never know what might have been picked up, even across the street or down the block. It's been a while, but maybe it's worth it for the investigators to double-check any footage they might have. It's stories like these that make me hope people who may have slight details can come forward. It often doesn't take much to make a difference in unsolved cases. Sending love to the Banks family, hoping for justice.
Does anyone else find it chilling that Gloria Banks was targeted during such a routine part of her day? Every time I think about her walking from her daughter's house to that bus stop, I can't help but feel a pang of sadness for her and her family.
