Has anyone else been thinking about the immense pressure Lara Sobel must have been under as a social worker? It's gut-wrenching to realize that she dedicated her life to helping and protecting children, which is one of the toughest jobs out there, and then ended up being killed in such a violent manner. Social workers like Lara play such a crucial role but often face intense scrutiny and are put in incredibly difficult positions. It's just so upsetting to think about how Lara's life was cut short while doing her job and trying to make a difference. I really hope this tragedy brings about more awareness and support for those who work in such demanding and essential professions.
