It's troubling to think about how many hands the gun passed through—from the initial robbery in Fair Haven to the string of crimes leading to Daniel's death. It seems like it was a ticking time bomb of sorts, just waiting to go off in the worst way possible. My thoughts are with the Hein family and everyone affected by this tragic chain of events. It's a stark reminder of how quickly things can spiral out of control when firearms are involved. True justice might be hard to find, but I hope it gives some measure of peace to those who knew and loved Daniel. ?
