Has anyone else been following the testimony from Destiny Taylor? I can’t even imagine the strength it must take for a 15-year-old to relive such a traumatic event in a courtroom. Sitting beside her brother, completely unaware of the danger looming—it’s just terrifying. It makes me wonder about the lasting impact these incidents have on survivors, especially when they take place during such formative years. My heart goes out to her as she navigates this nightmare and to the rest of Davon's family who are undoubtedly reliving their pain as well. This case is such a stark reminder of how senseless violence destroys lives far beyond the immediate loss. I hope Destiny gets all the support she needs to heal, both physically and emotionally.
