I’ve been following the case of Carlos Rivera, or “Loko Los” as his fans knew him, and something that really stands out to me is the impact he had on the local hip-hop community. It’s evident that he wasn't just an up-and-coming rapper but was also deeply invested in nurturing young talent through his label, Strictly About Music. I can't imagine how many artists in Providence are finding it hard to press on without his guidance and influence. Maybe someone in the music community knows something that could help solve this case? If you were mentored by him or collaborated with him, speak out. He seemed like such a positive force, and it's tragic to think his voice was silenced in this way. My heart goes out to his family and especially his fiancée and kids—it's crucial that they find answers and justice for Carlos.

Carlos wasn't just a talented artist with a promising future in the hip-hop world; he was a father, a fiancé, and a mentor to so many kids trying to find their way in life. His music label, Strictly About Music, was more than a business—it was a community hub for aspiring artists.
With multiple witnesses and surveillance cameras in the area, it seems puzzling that the investigation hasn't moved forward. I can't imagine the frustration and pain his family feels, especially since his case isn't getting the media attention it deserves. If anyone has any information, remember there's a $10,000 reward and a family desperately seeking justice. Let's not let this case go cold. The Providence community owes it to Carlos and his loved ones to keep the conversation going and support any efforts to finally bring them peace.
